Homemade Pasta Machine Redefined: Hidro Mamma Mia

Designed to break free from traditional stereotypes, the Hidro Mamma Mia offers a reinterpretation of the past, connecting the object to the current lifestyle and delivering a pleasurable experience with gourmet high performance. Its unique properties include being extremely easy to use, light, compact, and easy to store and transport. The machine allows safe high productivity, providing a pleasant cooking experience for families and friends.

In addition to preparing and laminating the dough, the Mamma Mia also cuts the pasta with different thicknesses, enabling the preparation of a variety of dishes such as pasta, noodles, lasagna, bread, pastry, and pizza. The integrated engine offers robustness and safe use, while facilitating cleaning and regular maintenance.

The manufacturing process utilizes metal stamping, plastic injection, and epoxy painting. The materials used include carbon steel, 304 stainless steel rollers, ABS plastic, nylon, armor-plated bearings, and LEDs. With product dimensions of 380mm width, 320mm depth, and 226mm height, the Hidro Mamma Mia is a versatile addition to any kitchen.

The project, which commenced in June 2019 and concluded in December 2019, was entirely developed in Brazil. The design process involved consumer-centric insights, immersive research, and a design-based approach to solving problems. The team overcame various creative, technical, and research challenges to bring innovation and differentiation to the market.
