Shimoyama Shanghai DIY Home Co., Ltd. is proud to present the Cream Stool, a revolutionary piece of furniture that redefines the conventional concept of a stool. Designed by Uri Yang, the Cream Stool is not only a functional seating option but also a versatile playmate for children, offering a unique blend of safety, creativity, and entertainment.

The Cream Stool's distinctive design features legs positioned on the straight edges of its seat, resembling natural curved extensions that enhance stability and capacity. This innovative approach allows the stool to serve as a reliable seating option while also doubling as a ladder for children to reach high-placed toys. When inverted, it transforms into a toy box, adding a playful element to its functionality.

Constructed with the safety and enjoyment of children in mind, the Cream Stool boasts wide, curved legs that provide enhanced stability and capacity, making it akin to a large toy for children to engage with. Its seamless, smooth appearance, achieved through injection molding, not only ensures safety but also adds to its toy-like appeal, making it endearing and familiar to children.

Measuring at a width of 297mm, depth of 274mm, and a height of 250mm, with a seat width of 185mm, the Cream Stool is designed to provide both comfort and practicality for young users. Its wide, flat legs are easily maneuverable, allowing children to transform the stool into a toy box effortlessly. The stool's fully curved shape minimizes the risk of injury when overturned, while its sunken seat curve offers comfortable support.

The Cream Stool project commenced in March 2021 in Shanghai, China, and concluded in August 2022, with the product currently in production. The design's simplicity and practicality stem from extensive research, ensuring that it is affordable, easy to transport, and store, making it accessible to families worldwide.
