Sheng Tao's innovative office design, "Fight Together," blends art and functionality to create a modern, adaptable workspace in Nanjing
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Renowned designer Sheng Tao has unveiled a groundbreaking office design, "Fight Together," which seamlessly combines functionality and artistic expression. The design, located in Nanjing, China, was completed in April 2019 after an extensive project that began in October 2018.
The design concept draws inspiration from the yin and yang philosophy, utilizing circular arcs to divide the space into two major areas and four components. This approach, combined with a cloudlike structure of blocks and planes, results in a unique spatial form that promotes adaptability and efficiency.
Utilizing cutting-edge technology, the office features a streamlined layout to enhance communication and mutual assistance among users. The integration of a facial recognition access control system and innovative glass features further elevates the space, ensuring privacy, confidentiality, and a seamless user experience.
One of the notable challenges overcome during the project was the integration of structural columns, which were skillfully incorporated into the design to maintain the space's integrity and visual appeal.
Sheng Tao's "Fight Together" design was honored with the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020, recognizing its exceptional creativity and contribution to improving the quality of life through innovative design practices.
