Teresa Arrieta, the visionary designer behind the woom NOW, has unveiled a groundbreaking urban lifestyle bike for kids, redefining the concept of urban mobility for the younger generation. The woom NOW is a lightweight, fully loaded bike that combines innovative frame architecture with a range of special features, setting a new standard for urban biking.

Designed in Austria, the woom NOW is the result of two years of meticulous research and development, aimed at addressing the day-to-day mobility needs of urban youth. With a focus on freedom and independence, the woom NOW is tailored to the unique requirements of Generation Alpha, offering a perfect blend of style, functionality, and safety.

Featuring a versatile front rack capable of supporting loads of up to 10 kg, hydraulic Flatmount disc brakes, and wide balloon tires, the woom NOW provides stability, control, and safety for riders aged 6 to 14 years. The integration of a small front wheel ensures a low center of gravity, making it ideal for carrying loads while maintaining stability.

Arrieta's design process involved extensive moodboarding, mural creation, and in-depth research to understand the needs and desires of Generation Alpha. The result is a design that not only incorporates rational features but also addresses the emotional aspects of urban biking for kids, allowing them to express themselves through customizable features such as the frame bag.
