Newme: Redefining Medical Beauty Spaces

Jiang & Associates Creative Design introduces Newme, a groundbreaking medical beauty hospital located in the heart of Chengdu Financial City. The design concept was inspired by the evolving needs of the medical beauty market, with a focus on creating a gender-neutral sensory experience. The project was completed in October 2020, marking a significant milestone in the industry's evolution.

Newme sets itself apart through its emphasis on minimalism and regularity, utilizing a large number of arched structures to drive the indoor rhythm. The design team strategically leveraged terrazzo and Glass Reinforced Gypsum (GRG) to realize the project's vision, ensuring a seamless integration of form and function.

Spanning an interior area of approximately 6500 square meters across four stories, Newme features a diverse range of spaces, including cosmetic clinics, operation rooms, patient rooms, and office areas. The design prioritizes functionality and operational flow, meticulously adhering to the Joint Commission International (JCI) standards to optimize the customer experience.

The design process was not without its challenges, particularly in addressing the presence of diagonal steel beams within the original building. However, the team's innovative approach led to the integration of rational arcs, which became a defining element throughout the project, infusing every inch of the space with a sense of harmony and purpose.

The project's completion marks a significant shift in the industry, reflecting the team's commitment to addressing user needs and reshaping the future of medical beauty.
