Moroccan Elegance: Award-Winning Residential Design Fusing Tradition, Modernity, and Sustainability

One One Interior Design Studio has achieved international recognition by winning the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category for its Moroccan Elegance project. Completed in December 2023 in Taipei, this 132-square-meter residence stands out for its harmonious fusion of Moroccan architectural motifs and contemporary functionality, reflecting the studio's commitment to both artistry and practical living.

Drawing inspiration from the intricate patterns and natural textures of Moroccan culture, the design features a distinctive palette of solid wood, cast iron, and patterned tiles. The calming blue-and-white color scheme evokes a serene maritime ambiance, while bespoke handcrafted lighting fixtures add an artistic touch. The space is thoughtfully designed to accommodate both human and pet needs, with features such as through-display shelving that cater to the instincts of cats and enhance daily interaction.

Moroccan Elegance also integrates advanced smart home technology, including intelligent lighting and temperature control systems, while prioritizing sustainability through the use of eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient devices. The project's realization was guided by extensive research into human-pet coexistence, ensuring durability, convenience, and a healthy environment without sacrificing aesthetic appeal.
