Outside the Box: Redefining Office Spaces

PCID's "Outside the Box" project redefines office spaces with a focus on open-plan layouts, vibrant colors, and seamless transitions. The headquarters, renovated from an old structure, exudes a bright, neat, and lively vibe through its grayish white hues.

The design incorporates rimless transitions, couches, bar counters, and circular sofas, complemented by bright lighting and vibrant-colored furnishing, creating diverse yet separate areas ideal for nomadic work or lounging.

The use of glass as a transparent medium and a two-story-tall vaulted ceiling with large French windows shape an open, friendly facade for the company, fostering interaction and connectivity.

The staff restaurant in the basement features an industrial style with open seating sections, VIP rooms, and counters for buffet, exotic cuisines, and healthful foods, providing a space for employees to relax and recharge.

PCID's design overcame creative and technical challenges to create a warm, user-friendly work environment, integrating specifically-selected materials, color schemes, and spatial details.

Located in the Science Park in Guishan, Taoyuan, Taiwan, "Outside the Box" has been recognized with the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2022 for its well-designed, practical, and innovative approach.
