Guangzhou-based designer Zhaozhao Lv and team have been honored with the Bronze A' Design Award 2025 for their pioneering "Aigc Class for Teenagers," a unique art education program that blends artificial intelligence-generated content (AIGC) tools with art history, empowering young students to explore creativity and technology in a classroom setting.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The "Aigc Class for Teenagers," developed by Zhaozhao Lv and a multidisciplinary team, has been recognized with the Bronze A' Education, Teaching Aid and Training Content Design Award for 2025. This innovative course series, launched in October 2023 at an educational institution in Guangzhou, China, introduces adolescents to the creative potential of artificial intelligence-generated content (AIGC) within the context of art history. By integrating cutting-edge AI tools with classical artistic principles, the program aims to cultivate curiosity, digital literacy, and artistic expression among the next generation of artists.
The curriculum stands out for its seamless fusion of technology and tradition. Each lesson is meticulously crafted by experienced design educators, utilizing platforms such as XMind for course structuring and Midjourney and Photoshop for generating polished visual content. The result is a comprehensive, visually engaging PowerPoint-based course that guides students through both the theoretical and practical aspects of AIGC in art. Over ten lessons have been completed to date, with positive feedback highlighting increased student engagement and a heightened interest in the intersection of technology and creativity.
One of the main challenges faced by the team was the lack of existing educational material on AIGC, given the technology's recent emergence. Despite this, the instructors successfully developed original content and interactive activities that encourage students to experiment with AI-powered image generation and style transfer. The course not only enhances students' understanding of modern art techniques but also prepares them for a digitally integrated future in the arts. The recognition by the A' Design Award underscores the program's impact and its contribution to advancing quality art education worldwide.
